As I reflected on my professional and personal experiences, I recalled that the environments where people tended to thrive most were those where they were valued, seen, and heard.  This is no new theory and seems like common sense.    Yet the reality of being valued, seen, and heard—when lost in the demands of other priorities—erodes the climate and culture of any home, organization, or community.   

I’ve come full circle in my career, returning to the heart of my why and my north star.  And the heart of my why led me to rebrand my business a year ago to embody my most important values shaped by my 28-year career in the field of education and the helping professions.

Months ago, when I reread my first three blog entries, I realized something important was missing: how the experiences impacted me.
