About Me
Human-Centered Practice, Learning, & Program Consultant
My name is Veronique (a.k.a. Dr. Walker), and I partner with individuals and organizations to cultivate supportive environments rooted in well-being, purpose, and humanity. These are spaces where people are valued, seen, and heard.
There’s nothing more powerful or productive than someone who knows they are valued and appreciated.
I’ve come full circle in my career, returning to the heart of my why and my north star. After serving 28 years in the helping profession and education fields, I’ve learned what effectively works to create thriving spaces and communities.
Using human-centered (people first) practice consulting, reflective learning and coaching, program and framework design, and program evaluation, I guide people and organizations from complexity to clarity, and from intention to sustainable practice.

What Shapes My Work
Competencies gained through my lived experiences and the experiences of others, along with collaboration with experts in their fields, became the foundation of my company’s core beliefs. These beliefs form the Empowered Legacy Framework and guide how we serve individuals and organizations.
From the classroom to the boardroom and everywhere in between, our core beliefs are designed to empower people to show up as their authentic selves, ready to be their best for themselves, their organizations, and those around them.

Why Empowered Legacy Exists
We can be highly skilled individuals and still find ourselves impacted by dynamics within ourselves or our organizations.
That’s where Empowered Legacy can assist. Using the Empowered Legacy Framework, I offer support and services designed to strengthen well-being, effective leadership, and lasting impact, which is how I define legacy. Legacy is a living practice, reflected in how we lead, live, and uplift others. It’s not just what we leave behind. Legacy is also how we empower others, embody our values, and create meaningful impact in the environments that we serve.

The Empowered Legacy Logo
The Empowered Legacy logo is the visual expression of why I do what I do. The maple tree represents legacy shaped by lived experience and deep roots grounded in purpose, humanity, and the ability to thrive over time. Like the maple tree, this work is rooted in what endures while releasing seeds of impact through intentional, everyday actions. View the video below for more information.
